The subject matter of Lindy's paintings range from simple fragments of everyday life to fantastic ideals of place. Her vision requires pure, vibrant color which brings her scenes to life and takes them to the edge of a dream world. Her oil paintings are expressed on custom-made masonite panels, varied in size and depth. She sometimes incorporates photo transfer imagery as well as found object embellishment, expanding the painting's texture and language.
